ABOUT OUR TOBACCO CARDS In the early 1900s, U.S. tobacco companies produced a variety of “tobacco cards” that were included free with cigarette packs. Popular subjects included actors, animals, baseball players, college mascots and seals, flags, and U.S. Presidents.
Around 1910, there was a four-year period when the theme focused on U.S. Colleges and Universities.
